New Delhi: Delhiites got some respite from cold conditions on Makar Sankranti today with the minimum temperature rising marginally.
The lowest temperature for the day was recorded at eight degree Celsius compared to yesterday's 7.4 degrees, the MeT Office said.
The minimum temperature is likely to rise after two days in the capital as weathermen predicted that western disturbance is approaching the north-west plain of the country.
Under the influence of the western disturbance, isolated to scattered rainfall is expected in the plains of north-west India.
The MeT Office has also predicted light fog tomorrow and Wednesday. The maximum temperature was recorded at 19 degree Celsius yesterday, which was two degree below normal.
