Thirteen more parties registered for election

Kathmandu: Thirteen new political parties got themselves registered with the Election Commission of Nepal for the Consituent Assembly polls slated for April 10.

With this the total number of parties registered for the CA polls has come to 74, Election Commission sources said.

The EC will provide election symbols to only those political parties which have got themselves registered under it.

Yesterday, was the last date for registration of the parties with EC for the CA polls. The newly registered parties include Terai Madhesh Loktantrik Party, Mangol National Organization, Newa Rastriya Party and other regional parties.
