London: Rich tributes were paid to slain Pakistani leader Benazir Bhutto by former colleagues and friends at her alma mater Oxford during a memorial debate in the presence of her teenage son Bilawal, also a student of the university.
Bhutto, the former Pakistan Premier who was assassinated on December 27 in Rawalpindi, was President of the Oxford Union in 1977, the first Asian woman to hold the post. The debate was organised yesterday at the Oxford Union debating society. Among those present at the memorial debate was Bhutto's 19-year-old son Bilawal.
