New Delhi: Atiq Ahmed, a Lok Sabha member from Phoolpur in Allahabad, who was evading arrest for the past six months in a murder case of an MLA in Uttar Pradesh was arrested by the Delhi police in the national capital.
Ahmed, an expelled Samajwadi Party MP, was arrested by special cell of Delhi police last evening from a apartment in Preetampura in west Delhi, a senior police officials said today.
He was on the run after his name cropped up in the sensational murder case of Raju Pal, a BSP MLA in UP.
