Fire in plastic factory

New Delhi: A fire broke out in a plastic factory in Narela but no casualties were reported, fire department said here today.

The incident occurred around 2230 last night in the basement of a three-storeyed factory spread over an area of 500 sq metres.

The fire-fighting operations were still on with as many as 150 fire personnel and 12 water tenders deployed, a fire official said. "The fire-fighters have managed to enter the factory through the basement and hopefully, the fire would be extinguished in the next two-three hours", he said.
