Ghaziabad: A five-year-old boy accidentally shot his sister with the revolver of their father in the district, critically injuring the girl, police said today.
Eight-year-old Samia was critically injured when her brother accidentally pulled the trigger of their father's licenced revolver while playing with it last night, they said.
The parents were not in the house when the incident occurred, they said, adding the revolver was lying on the table and children picked it up to play with it.
The father, Sudheer Kumar Singh, is an advocate. Doctors attending Samia said that the condition of the girl is critical and she has been put on a ventilator.
