Youths posing as DM and SP held

Muzaffarpur: Two youths pretending as District Magistrate and Superintendent of Police were arrested while extorting money from traders and heavy vehicles at Saraiyaganj here.

They were arrested on Friday night when policemen on patrol noticed them extorting money from local traders and drivers of passing vehicles claiming themselves as DM and SP of the district, Additonal Superintndent of Police Chatranil Singh told PTI.

A truck driver Rameshwar Shah lodged a complaint against the two youths in a local police station.
