Coimbatore: Morning flights from Bangalore and Mumbai were delayed for nearly two hours, due to thick fog prevailing in and around the city, airport sources said.

The landing of the flights--Air Deccan and Kingfisher from Bangalore and Spicejet from Mumbai--was delayed due to heavy mist over the airport, the sources said.

Though the passengers were put to hardship for some time all the flights landed around 9 AM, the sources said.

Meanwhile, thick fog in and around the city, forced the motorists to move with headlights on. Morning joggers found it difficult to move, as visibility was very poor, till 8 AM.
