2 die due to intense cold in Jammu region

Jammu: Two persons were found dead today due to the intense cold in this region of Jammu and Kashmir.

One unidentified person was found dead due to severe cold in Trayath area of Rajouri district this morning, official sources said, adding his body was shifted to hospital.

An elderly beggar was found dead due to severe cold in the city and his body was shifted from Narwal area to hospital, they said.

With the deaths, the toll due to cold and avalanches in Jammu region has gone up to 14.
