Ranchi: Five naxalites, inlcuding two women,were killed during a gunbattle with security forces inJamshedpur district in Jharkhand today.

The gunbattle took place in Baiparmada village in thedistrict at around 8 am when a joint team of CRPF and localpolice raided the area, a CRPF spokesperson said here.

Three men and two women naxalites were killed in thefirefight, the spokesperson said.

Four rifles and one pistol were recovered from theirpossession, he said.
