New Delhi: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh was today non-committal on a reshuffle in his ministry in the wake of three Union ministers being entrusted with the task of heading Congress party units in states. "When it is done, you will know," was his response to reporters who asked him when a reshuffle would be undertaken.
There has been speculation that Singh would bring about changes in his Council of Ministers with P R Dasmunsi, Saifuddin Soz and Suresh Pachouri being asked to head party units in West Bengal, Jammu and Kashmir and Madhya Pradesh respectively. Asked about US insistence that time was running out on the Indo-US nuclear deal, the Prime Minister simply said that he did not want to comment on it.
To a question on the extension of visa for controversial Bangladesh author Taslima Nasreen, he said, "you will hear from the External Affairs Ministry". Taslima's visa is due to expire on February 17.
