Mainpuri: Three children, including a girl, were killed and six others injured by a speeding van in village Jaramai near here, police said today.

The accident occurred last night when the driver of the speeding van lost control over the vehicle and hit the children standing alongside road, they said.

Two children were killed on the spot, they said.

The injured were rushed to a hospital, where a girl was declared brought dead, while condition of others were stated to be stable, they said.
