Airport stir called off: CITU leader

Kolkata: The indefinite non-cooperation movement by CITU-backed Airports Authority Employees Union (AAEU) was called off tonight, CITU leader Shyamal Chakraborty said here.

"I have been informed that the movement has been called off," Chakraborty told PTI here.

He said the formal announcement would be made soon.

Airports Authority of India's Deputy Director M Kaul here said that he had also been informed by union leaders that the non-cooperation had been withdrawn.

Everything will be normal by midnight tonight, he said.
