BJP seeks PM's intervention in Sarabjit case

New Delhi: The Bhartiya Janata Party today asked Prime Minister Manmohan Singh to intervene immediately to save the life of Sarabjit Singh, who has been reportedly issued death warrant in a prison in Lahore.

Party Chief Rajnath Singh asked the Prime Minister to immediately intervene in the matter. Sarabjit, an Indian national, was reportedly issued a death warrant following cancellation of his mercy petition by Pakistan President Pervez Musharraf on March 3.
