'We're ready to pardon Sarabjit Singh'

Lahore: In a new twist in the Sarabjit's case, Abdul Rehman, who lost his younger brother Bilal Mustafa in May 18, 1990 that took at Malik Theatre Cinema, Bhaati Gate in Lahore, has showed readiness to grant pardon to Sarbjit in this case.

Sarabjit Singh, the accused of engineering the Lahore bomb explosion, was sentenced to death in 1991 on charges of engineering four bomb explosions in Pakistan.

Abdul Rehman, who runs a rent-a-car business at Bhaati Gate, remarked that there's no point in hanging Sarbjit now, as his brother cannot come back.

He also added that he does not want Sarabjit's family to undergo trauma and pain through which his family had gone.

Earlier, Pak govt had made statement that only victims' families can grant pardon to Sarabjit.
