Putin replaces Dy Foreign minister

Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin today dismissed his Deputy Foreign Minister, Alexander Losyukov, who was also in-charge of the Moscow's foreign affairs in Asian nations including India.

Losyukov, who was looking after Moscow's diplomatic activities in Asia including India, China and Japan has been replaced by Alexei Borodavkin.

Borodavkin was Russia's permanent envoy in the Vienna-based Organisation for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE), Kremlin press office announced.

Losyukov had repesented Russia at six-party talks over North Korea's nuclear programme also involving China, Japan, North Korea, South Korea and the United States and was formerly an ambassador to Japan.
