New Delhi: With its senior leader L K Advani coming under fire from Congress, BJP today hit back alleging there was no internal democracy in that party which is ruled by a dynasty.
"There is no internal democracy in the Congress party. Congress has abandoned democracy in the party and is trying to do so in the country," senior BJP leader Venkaiah Naidu said here.
On the contrary, BJP has got democratic set-up, he said.
He also trained his guns at Prime Minister Manmohan Singh saying "he has no authority".
Naidu's comments came in response to Congress attacks on Advani for his remarks on the Kandahar hijack crisis.
Commenting on the road shows of Congress General Secretary Rahul Gandhi in poll-bound Karnataka, Naidu said "Congress leadership is not charismatic. They had roadshows in Gujarat which turned into flop show".
"They do not have the credibility and acceptability to get people s mandate," he said addressing a meeting of the Cooperative cell of the party.
Predicting early Lok Sabha polls, Naidu asked BJP workers to prepare themselves for the elections.
"People are unhappy with the Congress-led government. Since 2004,Congress has lost elections in ten states out of 12," he said, adding "this only shows that BJP is moving forward and Congress is going backward". Source : PTI
