Paramilitary trooper killed

Islamabad: Unidentified gunmen today attacked a vehicle of the paramilitary forces in the southwestern Pakistani city of Quetta, killing a paramilitary trooper and injuring three others.

The vehicle in which the Frontier Constabulary personnel were travelling was attacked in the city's Saryab Road area. No group claimed responsibility of the attack, reports said. The injured personnel were taken to the civil hospital and the condition of one of them was described as critical.
