New York: Eight people were killed and another two were listed as missing, presumed dead in a house fire in the northeastern US state of Pennsylvania, according to police. The fire broke out at a house in a rural area around 160 kilometers northeast of Pittsburgh yesterday.
Police spokesman Cuopo Yoag confirmed the toll to AFP and said that Police were still investigating the cause of the fire. According to local newspaper and television reports, five of the dead were children, while Yoag said two others had escaped the fire alive.
