Sanya (China): Pakistan opposes all attempts to disrupt the Beijing 2008 Olympics and firmly supports China's territorial integrity, President Pervez Musharraf said on Friday.

Musharraf, who is on a five-day state visit to China, told his counterpart Hu Jintao during a meeting in the southeastern city that his country was confident the Beijing Olympics would be a success.

In an interview with Xinhua prior to his China visit, the Pakistani president had said he would take part in the torch relay ceremony when the Olympic flame arrives in Islamabad April 16.

Musharraf said Pakistan regards Tibet as an inalienable part of China and firmly opposes any actions to split China.

"Pakistan will strengthen cooperation with China in fighting against terrorist and extremist forces," he said.

During his visit to Hainan, Musharraf will also attend the annual meeting of the Boao Forum for Asia (BFA), due to open Saturday afternoon in Boao.
