Tibetans hold demonstrations in Bangalore
Saturday, April 12, 2008 18:02 [IST]
Bangalore: Tibetans today staged a demonstration here enacting scenes of recent crackdown by Chinese authorities in Tibet.

The members of the South Zone Tibetans Solidarity Committee sprinkled colours resembling blood on their clothes and enacted scenes of attack using toy guns to express their anguish over the crackdown.

The agitators demanded that China immediatley end "persecution" of Tibetans in Tibet and unconditionally release all those Tibetans who have been "detained under false charges."
