New Delhi: In a move that would benefit several students of distance education, Indira Gandhi National Open University today announced round-the-year admission for all academic programmes.

"The admissions would be for masters and bachelors degrees, PG diplomas, PG certificates and certificate programmes for the session July 2008-09," an IGNOU official said in a statement today.

He said this is the first time that the university has taken such an initiative.

The common prospectus would be available from April 15 at the regional centres and students could also log on to the IGNOU website, he added.
