New Delhi: A disabled and eco-friendly spacious Dilli Haat was inaugurated today by Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit in Northwest Delhi here today.
Speaking on the occasion, Dikshit said, "Dilli Haat showcases India's traditional crafts and gives an opportunity to the visitors to peep into the rich heritage of the country."
The second Dilli Haat in the national capital at Pitampura is spread over 7.2 acres and boasts of 108 craft stalls, bigger amphitheatre, more food kiosks, in all a visitor's delight.
Its connectivity with Delhi Metro just make it purposeful place of happening where people could shop and enjoy, Tourism Minister Arvinder Singh Lovely said.
