New Delhi: A speeding mini bus on Saturday ran over a schoolgirl in Delhi.

The incident occurred in Uttam Nagar in west Delhi when Kajal, 8, a student of class II, was going to her school.

"Kajal was crossing the road when the bus hit her, killing her on the spot," a police official said.

A crowd ran after the vehicle and caught hold of the driver, Subhash Sahni. He was handed over to the police.
