CBI raids NDA lecturer's premises
Monday, April 21, 2008 22:31 [IST]

New Delhi: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) Monday conducted searches at six premises of a National Defence Academy (NDA) lecturer for corruption.

The anti-corruption branch of the CBI recovered incriminating documents against lecturer K.C. Tiwari during searches at Pune, Kanpur (Uttar Pradesh) and Latur (Maharashtra), a CBI release said.

Tiwari was booked March 17 for allegedly indulging in corrupt practices during the period between July 1997 to March 2008 by misusing his official position as a public servant and amassing wealth to the tune of about Rs.7.5 million in his own and his wife's name.
