Fire in CGO Complex in Delhi

New Delhi: A fire broke out in a multi-storeyed building in the national capital on Friday morning.

The blaze broke out at 8:30 am in the sixth floor of CGO Complex in South Delhi which houses the Economic Offences Unit, fire brigade officials said.

Ten fire tenders were rushed to the area and the blaze was doused by 9.30, they said, adding considerable damage was caused by the fire.

The building also houses the headquarters of the Central Bureau of Investigation.

The cause of the fire was not immediately known.
