New York: A Gurdwara built at a cost of USD 3 million and spread over 2.4 acres was inaugurated in the Nevada state amidst religious ceremonies.
The inaugural ceremonies began yesterday with a procession of Guru Granth Sahib in a decorated vehicle to the newly built Gurdwara at Reno as devotees rendered holy verses.
The Gurdwara has three large plasma screens which will display scriptures both in English and Punjabi.
Amolak Singh Powar, President of Reno Sikh Temple said the spacious Gurdwara will also have facilities for teaching Punjabi language and religious lessons.
