Sirsa: A farmer and his three sons were sentenced to life by a court here for murdering a youth twelve years ago.

The Additional Sessions Judge yesterday passed the sentence against Shera Ram and his three sons Rajinder, Pawan and Mahender, who hail from Mamber Khera village of the district.

The court also imposed a fine of Rs 10,000 each on the four convicts.

According to the prosecution, the four convicts had on February 19, 2006 murdered the youth Ranbir with sharp weapons due to some old enmity.

Police had registered a case of murder on the basis of a complaint filed by the father of the deceased against all the four.
