Jammu: A young girl was raped by four youths in a government school at the outskirts of Jammu city, official sources said.

The 19-year old girl, a resident of Hamirpur in Uttar Pradesh, had gone to a canal at Trait basti area of Bari Brahamana when she was forcibly picked up by the four accused last evening.

One of the accused, Pinku, a local boy, had stolen the keys of a government school Ratnuchak from the caretaker of the school building, where the girl was raped.

Two of the accused, Bhola and Veeru also hail from Uttar Pradesh. The girl was taken to hospital for medical examination.

Police arrested Bhola, Joginder, Veru and Pinku and registered a case against them.
