Jammu: Eight labourers were killed and 20 others trapped after two trucks carrying them were hit by a landslide in Kishtwar district today.
The trucks carrying the labourers of general reserve engineering force (GREF) came under the landslide during road construction work at Thalaran area on Kishtwar-Sinthan road in the district around 1210 hours, defence sources said.
Eight bodies have so far been recovered from the spot.
