Two assaulted, two houses ransacked in Nandigram

Nanigram (WB): Two persons were beaten up and two houses ransacked at Kalicharanpur village in Nandigrm area while both the state's ruling CPI(M) and opposition Trinamool Congress leders claimed the victims belonged to them.

Trinamool Congress leader Swdesh Das charged CPI(M) workers brought out two persons from their houses in Kalicharanpur and ransacked their houses.

Besides, the goons were attacking the people with bomb in Garh Chakraberia village, he alleged and claimed villagers from these two villages were fleeing during night to the Trinamool Congress camp at Maheshpur.

CPI(M) leader Ashok Guriya, on the other hand, said the two victims were their supporters and that was why Trinamool Congress activists assaulted them.
