Etawah: Two girls were killed and five others received serious burn injuries as their house caught fire in Usradhar area here today, police said.

Two girls between nine to 15 years of age were killed when the thatched roof of a house in Nagra Kharag caught fire, they said, adding that two children were among the five who received burn injuries.

Fire tenders were rushed to douse the blaze. The injured were admitted to hospital, they added.
