Noida: With the arrest of four criminals police claimed to have busted a gang of criminals who were active in the NCR region.

The four, identified as Amit Kumar, Sandeep Tomar, Sanjiv and Deepak Tomar, when they were planning to rob the ICICI bank ATM at Sector 61 near Shopprix Mall.

The four were arrested after a brief encounter with the police, they said, adding that a pistol, a country-made pistol, 4 cartridges, one knife and 3 mobile phones were recovered from their possession.

On interrogation, they revealed that they were members of an inter-state gang of criminals who were committing kidnappings for ransom, hired killings, land grabbing and other criminal activities in NCR region.
