Srinagar: A militant hideout was unearthed in Kupwara district and a large quantity of ammunition recovered from it today.
Acting on specific information, troops of 41 Rashtriya Rifles launched a search operation in Pandodus Forest and recovered 1500 rounds of AK ammunition, two 107mm rockets, six RPG rounds, seven boosters and 26 Under Barrel Grenade Launchers, a defence spokesman said.
