Rail services restored on Vadodara-Mumbai line

Vadodara: Rail traffic, which was affected on the Vadodara-Mumbai route due to repairing work between Vishwamitry and Vadodara, has been resumed, a railway authority said today.

"The services were affected on this route due to a landslide that had occured near a bridge between Vishwamitry and Vadodara," Sanjay Shrivastav, Senior Divisional Manager of Vadodara Division Western railway said.

A single track was put to use for services because of which they were running behind schedule, Shrivastav said adding that the work was over by noon andrail traffic was restored on both the tracks.
