At least 29 killed in Peru bus accident

Lima: At least 29 people were killed in Peru after a passenger bus plunged over a cliff into a canyon south of the capital Lima, police said on Wednesday.

The local police chief of the town of Canete, Jose del Rio Silva, said that accident happened on Tuesday. Another 15 people were reportedly injured.

Initial investigation showed the accident was a mistake of the driver, who was killed along with a fellow driver.
