Three Killed in road mishap in Hisar

Hisar: Three persons, including two women were killed and six persons were injured, some of them seriously, in an accident between a jeep and a mini-truck near Sadar Police Station here today.

According to police sources, nine persons of village Hasangarh were going towards their village in a jeep after attending court.

When the jeep reached near Sader police Station, a mini-truck hit the jeep while trying to overtake.

The ill-fated jeep dashed against the tree killing Bimla (40) and Chhetu Ram (50) an the spot.

The injured jeep driver Mohinder Singh, Ram Phal, Sube Singh, Kalo Devi, Baru Ram, Wazir Singh and Ramphal were admitted to civil hospital here where Kalo Devi died later on.

The bodies has been handed over to their relatives ofter postmortem in civil hospital,

A case has been registered against the driver of the mini-truck.
