Three killed, 19 injured in road mishaps in Nashik

Nashik: Three persons were killed and 19 others injured in two separate road accidents at Satana and Devlali area here, police said today.

Two persons-- including a boy were killed and one injured when a speeding car ran over them in the premises of their residence at Devlali camp near here on Bhagur-Lahavit road while they were fast asleep outside last night, they said.

In another incident, a person was killed and eighteen passengers injured when a State Road Transport Corporation bus dashed against a tree at Savaki-Phata near Satana, police said.

The bus was proceeding to Navapur from Pune and the driver lost control over the vehicle following which it collided with a tree.

All the injured have been admitted to a hospital at Satana.
