Violence continues in Nandigram, one injured

Nandigram: A supporter of the Bhumi Uchched Pratirodh Commitee was today admitted to a hospital after he was allegedly beaten up by suspected CPI-M activists here, BUPC sources said.

Nandigram Police Superintendent S Panda, however, ruled out having any information on the incident.

BUPC sources claimed that the injured was one of the two who went missing from their villages last night.

The BUPC supporter was severely beaten up by CPI-M supporters at Osmanchowk in Nandigram bloc 1,the outfit alleged.

The Nandigram police station has been informed of the matter, BUPC sources said.
