Shop inspector nabbed while accepting bribe

Nashik: An inspector attached to the Deputy Labour Commissioner office was caught red-handed while accepting a bribe of Rs 2,000 here, ACB officials said.

Deepak Nathu Thore was caught after he threatened a a Inn owner yesterday, of filing a case against him for not maintaining a worker register and demanded the amount to avoid any action, a release from the Anti-corruption Bureau said today.

The Inn owner informed the matter to ACB officials, who later laid a trap and caught Thore.
