Six killed in road mishaps in Rajasthan

Jaipur: Six people, including a policeman, were killed and two others injured in two separate road mishaps in Rajasthan during the last 24 hours, police said today.

Five persons were killed and two injured when the van in which they were travelling collided head-on with a mini truck on the Jaipur-Kota National Highway, 30 kms from here, police said.

The injured have been shifted to a hospital. In a separate incident, an Assistant Sub-Inspector of Police was killed when a mini-truck hit him, while he was crossing the road near Jaipur-Agra highway in Dausa district.

The policeman has been identified as Ram Swroop, they said.
