Lucknow: Five people, including two children, were killed and nine others injured when a jeep collided with a mini-bus here this morning.

The incident occurred under Itaunja police station area when the mini-bus collided with the jeep, leaving five dead on the spot, police said.

The deceased were returning after attending a marriage party in Barabanki district, they said.

The injured were admitted to a hospital and condition of some of them was stated to be serious, they added.
