'Only tri-party talks can resolve Kashmir issue'

Srinagar: Observing that lasting solution to the Kashmir issue could be found only through tri-party talks, Jammu and Kashmir Transport Minister Hakeem Mohammad Yaseen today said this was opportune time for dialogue process to strengthen peace in the state.

"This is the right time for dialogue process to strengthen peace in the state as well as in the sub-continent," Yaseen said addressing a public meeting in the city.

He said lasting solution to the Kashmir issue could be found through tri-party talks between India, Pakistan and people of the state.

"There is a need to continue the dialogue process and involve political leaders of all shades and thoughts to resolve the Kashmir issue amicably," he added.
