Bhopal: A nine-day orientation programme for teachers would be organised by the Madhya Pradesh government, starting May 17 at Sehore in which students of government schools would be imparted training for physical fitness as well as martial arts like Judo and Taekwondo.
The orientation programme is being organised for training master resource person teachers, Shikshakarmis as well as contractual teachers so that they can properly train school children, an official release said today.
The State Government has issued instructions to all the education officers in this connection, including the joint directors of Directorate of Public Instructions to ensure participation of at least four teachers from every district to the orientation camp.
There will be two male and as many female trained master resource persons below the age of 40 years from every district to train the students.
Like last year, this year also international and national level trainers from various states of the country have been invited to impart training.
Trainees would be lodged at Government Residential Sports Institute, Sehore free of cost. Source : PTI
