23 pilgrims injured in Indore road accident

Indore: Around 23 pilgrims were injured today when the bus they were travelling in overturned near Simrol Police station on Indore-Khandwa road, police said.

The victims belong to Nagpur and were heading for Badrinath on a pilgrimage, police said.

The incident occured when the driver of the bus tried to overtake a truck, they said.

The injured passengers were admitted to Indore's Government Maharaja Yashwantrao (MY) hospital, police said, adding a case has been registered in this regard and further probe is on.
