Woman killed by tiger in Bihar

Bagaha: A tiger killed a woman at Valmiki Nagar Tiger Reserve near Bagaha in Bihar's West Champaran district, Divisional Forest Officer Surendra Singh said today.

Dilmaya Devi, wife of Ramchandra Mahato of village Gardidone under Gobarahiya police station had yesterday gone to the nearby forest to collect wood, where she was attacked by a tiger, he said.

She died on the spot and her body was brought here for autopsy, Singh added.
