Flight service to Port Blair resumes
Wednesday, May 14, 2008 11:58 [IST]
Kolkata: Flights between Port Blair and the rest of the country, suspended for three days due to water-logging on the runway following heavy rains, have resumed.

Four aircraft belonging to various airlines flew to Port Blair from Netaji Subhas Chandra Bose International Airport here yesterday, officials said here.

Normal air traffic from Port Blair was interrupted because of heavy rain, high tide and subsequent water-logging on the runway there since May 10.
