Ahmedabad: At least seven people were injured on Wednesday in a cooking gas cylinder blast at a house in Madhupura area here.

The incident occurred at 8.30 a.m. in Nakranpura chali, also known as Marwadi-ni-chali.

Fire brigade sources told IANS that seven people were injured.

The cylinder blast caused a fire in the house.

Chandulal Punamaji Rathod, 60, Chanaji Chandulal, 38, Rajubhai Chandubhai, 28, Ghulab Dangi, 35, Cheniben, 55, Chandaben, 18 and Mukesh Kumar, 15 sustained burn injuries.
