New Delhi: An American woman was allegedly molested in a five-star hotel in south-west Delhi by a spa masseur, police said today. The victim, who stays with her husband in Vasant Vihar, had gone to the hotel on Monday for a spa treatment and in her complaint to police, she alleged that masseur Amir molested her inside the spa.

She had gone to the spa for a head massage and claimed that she was molested by a masseur there, a senior police official said. The victim claimed in her complaint that she was not in her consciousness when the incident took place first.

She also alleged that the masseur threw a towel on her body when a man came to the room first, the official said adding as he left, he started massaging her again.

Amir again tried to molest her when she realised what was happening and protested, the police said. She then informed the staff of the spa about the incident. After she lodged a complaint, police arrested Amir.
