Jaipur: To take stock of the situation, Congress President Sonia Gandhi and Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil will arrive here today.
Earlier, Patil, who will accompany Gandhi, said he was in constant touch with Home ministry officials in Delhi to get the latest update on the situation in the Pink City.
He was also in touch with Rajasthan Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje and had assured her of all help from the Centre.
Patil appreciated the people of Rajasthan for showing restraint despite provocation by the perpetrators of violence who were trying to disturb peace.
